Christmas of 2008

Christmas went very well for us. We went with Daisy and Gauge to pick out and cut down our first tree in our new home. They were so tired when we got back to the truck that they just curled up and slept the whole way home. Some people called it a "Charlie Brown" tree but we absolutely loved it. We ended up getting pretty much everything that we asked for. Almost all of it was to help out with making our house a home. We finally have drinking glasses!!!! So now when you come to visit you will have a glass to drink out of. Brandon and I bought our big Christmas gift for each other together. We got a 40 inch flatscreen TV for our house. The best gift for me though came in my stocking. When I unwrapped my stocking I got a couple of gift cards and I got engaged!!! So if everything goes well and like we are planning this time next year we will finally be married. We are planning on a summer wedding.

Well I'm not too sure how this all works yet. I'm am new to blogging. Some friends and family members have a blog so I thought I would try it out. I find it is hard to keep up with myspace and facebook, so maybe this can be the one new thing to keep up with. I'm not sure how it will work yet. It will have to help out because I'm so busy with work and trying to get the new house all set up and feeling like home. The house is coming along slowly though.
