Big Changes

Well it is a good thing that we got a "family car"! Less than a week after we got the car we found out that we will be having our first little one at the end of May. I'm so glad that I now have this safe car to drive my baby around in. I have found out that I have been going through many emotions and feelings about this. I'm still letting it all sink in. We are so excited to be adding a new addition to our family and we just pray that everything is ok and the he/she will be healthy.

Family Car

Well after the wedding and the honeymoon (which was also amazing, and you can see the photos on facebook) we came back home to reality. We both started work again and started to talk about where we wanted to go with our new life. We have decided that we want to start our family soon and that if we are going to do that we need a more reliable car for me to drive. I told Brandon that I really wanted some type of a 4-wheel drive SUV because it would be easiest to get the kids in and out of the back seat, it would be big enough to go camping, and we could get a gate to keep the dogs in the back. Shortly after we began to look at many smaller SUV's. After looking for a little bit we found a black Dodge Nitro and fell in love. We ended up buying it and now are ready to start our family.

Wedding

It has been almost a month and a half since our wedding and I'm just now going to post about it. I should really get better about this.

Our wedding was AMAZING!!! We couldn't have asked for anything better. Our amazing family and friends were there to celebrate our special day with us. I finally got to marry my prince charming and I completely felt like a princess. I don't think that we could thank my parents enough for doing everything they could to make this wedding as special as it was. We were so pleased with the outcome. We also could not thank God enough for the beautiful weather that we had that day. Like I said before it was a perfect day, with the perfect people there helping us celebrate our new life together. Bridal Shower

Well my mom, Linda, and her mom put together a Bridal Shower for me. They did an amazing job. I loved all of the decorations and all of the hard work they did in completing this for me. I loved every part of the day. I felt so honored to see how many people were there to support me. My friends and family truly showed me how much I mean to them. Brandon and I got a lot of great gifts, and are getting more and more excited to have our wedding day here.

I wish that all of my friends and family could have been there but I understand being out of state makes it very hard. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at the wedding.

What now?

Ok, so I'm really not good at updating this. I have a hard time getting things done on time. As of yesterday I finished my first year of teaching and signed my contract for the next year! I'm so excited to be done, now I know why teachers need a summer vacation. Having 25 to 26 six year olds to look after Monday thru Friday for 8 hours a day is really difficult. The first year was a blast. I absolutely love being a teacher. I couldn't think of a better job right now, no two days are the same. It was really exciting seeing how much the kids enjoyed the field trip to the zoo. They got so excited watching the animals. At some points I don't know who was more excited them or me?

Now that school is done my focus turns to planning the wedding! We are almost done, just the little things need to be finalized. We are now officailly under two months until we are married. Both of us are so excited to finally get to be husband and wife. Brandon is the best and is so involved in the planning, I love it. I think we actually compete with who is more excited about getting married. We race to the mailbox to see who has RSVPed and fight over who opens them. We hope that all of our friends and family are going to be able to share in our special day with us. I will have my final fitting on my dress in two weeks, and I am so excited. Once the wedding is done we will have one more wedding the following weekend and then we leave that wedding for the honeymoon.

We are so excited to go on our honeymoon! This will be the trip of a lifetime for us. I can't wait to go shopping for clothes for the both of us. I haven't got to go shopping for clothes in a long time. We will leave for our honeymoon at 1am the morning of July 26th and return at 11pm on Aug 2nd. I will post photos of the wedding and honeymoon to share with everyone.

Joey and Brooke Pezdirtz Visit

Just last weekend Joey and Brooke came to visit. It was great to see both of them I know that we have missed hanging out with them. A bunch of us got together at Ryne and Cyndyl's house to hang out and of course drink. We played a couple of drinking games including a new quarters game. Well it ended up being a late night. We did not leave there until 3 a.m. and got home around 3:30. It was well worth it though. Then on Sunday they came over for about two hours so that they could see our new place. Hopefully we can go see them at their place real soon.

New Years 2009

Well I know that it is past New Years but this seems like the only time I have had to actually post something. For New Years we went out with one of my co-workers and some of her friends as well as Brandon's cousins to the Dublin House. We had a really good time and got lots of free stuff. It was a fun night and it was even better because we didn't have to pay a cover charge. At about 2 a.m. they were giving away free Jack Daniels shirts and Brandon was screaming to try to get one. Well on of the bar tenders threw the shirt across the bar. Needless to say it hit a banner and then our table and knock two huge glasses of water onto my pants. I was so soaked that I probably could of taken my jeans off and rang out the water. But it was a fun night none the less.
