So I'm obviously not very good at blogging since it has been almost 1 year since my last post. Not to make excuses but we have been very busy. Work is just one thing but Autumn keeps us on our toes. She is now 14 months old! (Brandon doesn't like when I say 14 months, he says she is 1 year old!) Autumn is ALL over the place and into EVERYTHING!!! I thought that we wouldn't really childproof our house and just teach her what she can and cannot get into but I'm rethinking that quickly. She knows what "no" means, however she already likes to test us. This last year has been absolutely amazing. I have loved watching her grow and experiencing her milestones. I was afraid that since she is in daycare most of the year I would miss a lot of the milestones but it hasn't happened that way at all. She has done all of them here at home with Brandon and me watching! Watching her walk for the first time out of the corner of my eye was awesome. After those first 6 or 7 steps Autumn soon decided it was easier for her to crawl and would only walk on her terms. She is very independent and she decides what she wants to do and when she wants to do it. We would try to get her to walk to show Grandma's and Grandpa's, Aunts and her Uncle but when we would try to get her to stand her legs would go to jello or she would hold them up to her stomach. In the last couple of weeks she has really taken to walking and absolutely loves it and wants to walk all of the time. All she needs to learn to do is to stand up without holding onto anything.
We have been trying to do as much as possible with Autumn. Back in March we took her to Kansas to see my cousins. We left in the evening so that Autumn could sleep the entire way there. She did pretty well and got scared and cried only once on the whole car ride. We had a lot of fun hanging out with them.

After that we planned to go to Texas in the beginning of June for Macy Jo's graduation and to visit Jared, Macy Jo, Jacky, and Mike. We drove down there and that car ride was not as fun. Autumn barely slept at all. It was just Brandon, Stan, Autumn, and me in the car on the way down there. We had a lot of fun in Texas and it was good to hang out with Jared and his family again.

Us at the Stockyard Station in TexasThe ride home from Texas wasn't as bad. We left early in the morning and there was also more family riding back with us that could help entertain Autumn. Having Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Amber, Mom, and Dad all in the car was definately a big help. As always Autumn was spoiled. She definately loved her Cheeto Puffs.

We made it home at a decent time and Autumn went to bed and now we were ready to start our summer in Colorado.
